On March 2, 2010, the 1,800 East Palo Alto apartments and rental homes known as Woodland Park Apartments changed ownership. BRIDGE Housing Corporation, a leading nonprofit, was asked to assist with a community engagement process to help the new owner better understand the community’s thoughts about the Property. Participants shared feedback over the course of 10 facilitated community meetings held between March and July. BRIDGE has now concluded its assignment by summarizing and reporting the community’s feedback to the owner.

 

At the community meetings, the most frequently raised concerns were related to property management issues such as safety, maintenance and staff responsiveness. These concerns were addressed in a timely and appropriate manner, and the owner in September brought onboard a new property management company, The Laramar Group. Laramar is committed to providing each of its residents with outstanding service and a quality living environment.
